OUR EDITORIAL STANDARD
Less noise.
More evidence.
We select significant AI and quantum developments, rather than filling a daily quota.
What earns a story
Major model releases, material changes in access or cost, consequential industry events, and substantial scientific advances. Quantum stories must explain the experiment, scale and limitations. Routine marketing, minor features, share-price chatter and unverified rumours do not qualify.
Daily selection
A scheduled research workflow checks at noon in America/Vancouver, following Pacific daylight saving changes. It discovers candidates through selected RSS feeds, official announcements and web research, deduplicates events against the archive, and selects up to three qualifying stories. Scheduler and deployment delays can affect the exact publication time. Quiet days have no new article.
Evidence before publication
We read source material, check dates, numbers and material claims, and include at least one primary source. Contested claims need independent corroboration or are held back. Company performance claims are attributed to the company; they are not independent test results. Each section links to supporting evidence. A headline or RSS snippet alone does not justify a full article.
AI-assisted original writing
Articles and briefs are original summaries written with AI assistance and checked against cited sources. Interpretation is labelled as our analysis. We do not copy full articles, bypass paywalls, or use third-party images without permission. Limited source access warrants a short attributed link brief or no publication.
Corrections and independence
Material changes retain a dated correction note and update timestamp. News does not change proprietary REVAL™ results or third-party benchmark data.
